Snacking has received a bad rap over the years, but that’s usually because most of the foods we relate with snacks are full of sugar and salt and nothing but empty calories. My cream cheese chili pinwheels are a tasty and healthier alternative to typical snacks.  Theses flavorful little bites are full of creamy, cheesy, and slightly spicy goodness all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. They make a great appetizer and they are even great for a light lunch. They are simple to make and can be stored for days before you slice and serve. These little bites will give snacks a different kind of wrap!

Belle’s Cream Cheese Chili Pinwheels

1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons finely diced celery

1 can (4-1/4 ounces) chopped black olives

1 can (4 ounces) green chilies, drained

1/2 cup chopped green onions

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ Seasoned salt

5 (10 inch) flour tortillas

Beat cream cheese, cheese, and sour cream until blended. Stir in the celery, olives, green chilies, green onions, and seasonings. Divide the mixture and spread evenly over the tortillas. Roll them up tightly. Wrap each in plastic wrap and the chill for 2 hours. Unwrap and slice into one inch pieces, using a serrated knife.
