- 1 large head Romaine Lettuce (or any other lettuce works great) cut into bite size pieces
- 1 apple, cored and coarsely chopped
- 2 Roma Tomatoes coarsely chopped
- ½ cup real bacon bits (use the stuff that comes in the bag)
- ½ cup glazed pecans (find these in the baking section) chopped
- 1 cup fat free mayo or Miracle Whip
- 3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
- 2/3 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
- 1 Tbs. poppy seeds
- ¼ cup skim milk
- ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (reduced fat works great)
Belle’s Favorite Salad
Salad

Toss together.
Dressing
1 cup fat free mayo or Miracle Whip
3 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
2/3 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
1 Tbs. poppy seeds
¼ cup skim milk
¼ cup blue cheese crumbles (reduced fat works great)
Whisk together all ingredients and drizzle over salad. Toss and add more dressing if needed.
