Belle’s Best and Easiest Sweet Rolls

These are sweet rolls that are fluffy and gooey but so easy to make! Like millions of others, I often find myself staring at my phone and watching videos. However, the ones I watch are almost always some new recipe. Many of these dishes intrigue me, but I’ve rarely tried them for myself. That was until I watched the viral sweet roll video. I tweaked it a bit, like I do with most of my recipes, and this one is definitely a hit. These quick and easy sweet rolls are some of the best I’ve had. They are basically doctored refrigerated cinnamon rolls. Once you place these in the pan, you simply top them with cream and a mixture of butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon before they bake. When they are done a extra rich and creamy frosty is layered on top of the most fluffy and delicious rolls you can imagine. And it gets better. There is no mixing, rising, rolling, and slicing of dough. However, be prepared to make two batches because when the first one comes out of the oven, it will be gone before the rolls even have a chance to cool.

Belle’s Best and Easiest Sweet Rolls

2 (17.5 ounces) cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (there are 5 large cinnamon rolls in each can)

1 cup heavy whipping cream

4 tablespoons butter

⅓ cup brown sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

4 tablespoons butter, very soft

4 ounces cream cheese, very soft

1 cup powdered sugar

Spray a 9 by 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange all ten cinnamon rolls in an even layer into the dish. Set aside the cans of icing for later. Pour the heavy whipping cream evenly over the cinnamon rolls and in between each one. In a small bowl melt 4 Tablespoons of butter and stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour this evenly over the cinnamon rolls. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until cooked through. They will still be very moist in the middle but shouldn’t be doughy. Remove the rolls from the oven and set aside while preparing the icing. In a medium bowl add 4 tablespoons of the softened butter and the softened cream cheese. Whisk the butter and cream cheese together until well combined. Add both the containers of icing that come with the cinnamon rolls. And then whisk in the powdered sugar. If it is too thick, add a small amount of milk to thin it slightly. Spread the icing evenly over the top of the cinnamon rolls. Serve while they are still warm!
