Belle’s Two Ingredient Sorbet

An easy and healthy frozen treat that is perfect for sunny days! Bring on the sunshine! This is the perfect time of year for a cool and fruity treat. My two-ingredient sorbet is so easy to make and only uses those tiny mandarin-style oranges and a small amount of milk. The process is so simple. Just peel, section, freeze, and blend. The sorbet is sweet and tangy and has no added sugar, so it’s also a healthy treat. I like to add a few shavings of chocolate just for a little added flavor, but this tasty treat is delicious all on its own. It’s a fun and easy go-to dessert that is perfect for the coming sunny days.

Belle’s Two Ingredient Sorbet

6-8 fresh mandarin (cutie) oranges

1-3 tablespoons milk

Chocolate shavings (optional)

Peel and section the oranges. Lay them in a single layer on a parchment-covered baking sheet. Put them into the freezer for several hours or until the orange segments are frozen solid. Place the frozen orange sections in your food processor and blend until the texture is like wet sand. Add a small amount of the milk (I added a tablespoon) and blend, adding a little more until the sorbet forms. Scoop into dishes and garnish with chocolate shavings, if desired.
