Belle’s Simple Sautéed Mushrooms

I love mushrooms. Their mild flavor is a wonderful addition to so many dishes, but my simple sautéed mushrooms are a perfect way to enjoy them on their own. This delicious, meaty side dish is so easy to make and adds a special touch to any meal. I love serving these topped on a steak or grilled chicken, but they are delicious as a stand-alone side dish. The butter and garlic add just the right amount of flavor, and in under ten minutes, you’ll have a tasty addition that will make any dinner special.

Belle’s Simple Sauteed Mushrooms

3 cups sliced brown mushrooms

3 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Salt and pepper

In a frypan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until they soften and release their juices. Add the garlic and cook until everything is fragrant and tender. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over steak or as a side dish.
