A flavorful and juicy chicken that is a delicious addition to your Superbowl cuisine! Chicken wings are a staple at the Superbowl, but my bacon-wrapped chicken tenders may give wings a run for their money. These tasty tenders are seasoned and wrapped in bacon, which not only adds a smoky flavor but also keeps the chicken moist and juicy. And if you have a bird hunter in the family, this is also a great dish for upland game birds like pheasant, chucker, or sage grouse. They take only a few ingredients and are quick and simple to make. You can add a dipping sauce if you’d like, but they are so flavorful on their own. This dish is a great appetizer or meal for your family or an entire party!
Belle’s Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenders
1 ½ pounds chicken breast (or turkey, pheasant, chucker) cut into strips
½ pound thin bacon
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon oil
Place the chicken strips on the cutting board and sprinkle with the seasoned salt and pepper on all sides. Wrap each tender with ½ strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Heat the oil in a large fry pan over medium-high heat. Cook each chicken tender until the bacon is crisp and the chicken is no longer pink inside.
