An easy, cheesy cauliflower steak! Cauliflower has taken off in popularity, and for good reason. It’s full of healthy nutrients, it’s low in calories, and it’s one of the most versatile vegetables around. I love making my parmesan cauliflower steaks because they are so easy and have a delicious savory flavor that is a perfect side dish for just about anything. These thick slabs are seasoned, coated in cheese, and then baked until they are tender. They are hearty and flavorful and will add something special to any meal.
Belle’s Parmesan Cauliflower Steaks
1 head cauliflower
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1-2 teaspoons seasoned salt
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
Using a sharp knife, remove the bottom stalk and leaves from the cauliflower. Cut the head in half and then cut slices 1 ½ to 2 inches thick. Place the steaks on a rimmed baking pan, brush one side with olive oil, sprinkle with the seasoned salt, and then with the parmesan cheese. Press down to secure the cheese, flip the steaks, brush the other side with the oil, and sprinkle with the seasoned salt. Bake in a 400-degree oven for about 35 minutes or until the steaks are tender.
