A simple but decadent alfredo that is perfect for pasta! Jarred sauces are convenient and easy, but homemade always tastes better. My easy alfredo is so simple that it’s almost as easy as opening a jar. This sauce has no roux, meaning no butter and flour mixture can clump up. This sauce is simply butter, cream, seasoning, and cheese. It’s rich and silk and perfect for whatever pasta you desire. It’s also wonderful over baked potatoes, steamed veggies, fish, or chicken. Its creamy and cheesy flavor will enhance whatever you decide to serve.
Belle’s Easy Alfredo Sauce
½ cup Butter
1 ½ cups heavy cream
2 teaspoons minced garlic
½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
¼ teaspoon Pepper
2 cups grated parmesan cheese
Heat the butter and cream over low heat in a large saucepan until the butter melts. Whisk in the garlic and seasonings and cook for a minute. Stir in the cheese until melted. Serve over cooked noodles, ravioli, or whatever you desire.
